How to reach Paestum and Cilento: by train, car, or plane

- From the North (Milan/Rome): Take the A1 Milan-Naples highway and continue on the A2 Salerno-Reggio Calabria. Exit at the Battipaglia or Eboli junction. From there, take the SS18 towards Sapri until the Paestum or Capaccio Scalo exit.
- From the South (Reggio Calabria): Take the A2 Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway north, exit at Eboli, and follow the signs for the SS18 towards Paestum.
- Hotel Destination: Once you exit the highway, follow the signs for the "Zona Mare" or "Area Archeologica" to reach our hotel located directly on the coast.

- Regional Trains: Numerous regional trains connect Naples Central and Salerno stations daily with Paestum station (Naples-Reggio Calabria line). The journey time from Salerno is approximately 30 minutes.
- High-Speed Trains (Frecciarossa and Italo): During the summer months, direct high-speed connections to Capaccio-Roccadaspide or Agropoli-Castellabate stations are often available. Alternatively, you can reach Salerno by high-speed train and continue by regional train or private transfer.
3. By Plane: Connections with Naples and Salerno
For those traveling from afar, Cilento is now even closer thanks to the opening of the Salerno airport.
- Salerno-Costa d'Amalfi Airport (QSR): Located just 30 km from Paestum, it is the closest airport. From here, you can rent a car or request a transfer service to reach Hotel Schuhmann in about 30-40 minutes.
- Naples Capodichino International Airport (NAP): Located about 90 km away, it offers connections to major Italian and European cities.
