Capri: the pearl of the Mediterranean
Departure from the hotel, at a time agreed with the agency at the time of booking, for the port of Salerno.
Embarkation for the island of Capri, the hydrofoil crossing will last approximately 2 hours, during which it will be possible to admire the Divine Amalfi Coast. Arrival at Marina Grande, here the guide will give an orientation on the course of the programme on the island, in order to give each participant the possibility of personalising their own experience.
Known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean, Capri is one of the most enchanting islands in the world: a small paradise on earth located in the heart of the Gulf of Naples, which attracts millions of tourists every year. Full of enchanting places, the most iconic of which is undoubtedly the famous piazzetta, which has become a symbol of Capri's social life and elegance, Piazza Umberto I is the true heart of the island. With its bars and panoramic terrace, it is the most exclusive area of all, welcoming celebrities and tourists from every corner of the world.
You should know that Capri is divided into:
Marina Grande: (mooring for all kinds of boats, including luxury yachts), from here you can take a boat tour around the island, visit the Blue Grotto or simply stop at the lovely but crowded little beach.
Anacapri: the highest part of the island with breathtaking views and little known to mass tourism. From here, you can take the chairlift to Monte Solaro*, visit the villa of Axel Munthe*, the Church of San Michele*, stop for lunch* or simply stroll and shop.
Capri: known for its famous “PIAZZETTA”, otherwise known as the “drawing room of the world”, the place where the film stars and celebrities of the “Dolce Vita” have strolled since the 1950s.
From here you can admire the majestic and unforgettable “FARAGLIONI” from the Gardens of Augustus.
Marina Piccola: not visited on our tour, it is an exclusively seaside resort on the island;
Meet at Marina Grande at 17:00. Return to the port of Salerno and on to the hotel.
